Gems

The vision for Gems is that it should be a group for women where they can discover and grow in understanding of God's original design for women as they reflect certain aspects of God's image.

The intention is to make Gems what it stands for, to -

• Gather - ladies/girls aged 15 to 95 to get together to build friendships and give support whatever the challenge they are going through at the time.
• Equip - talks, book reviews, interviews, visiting speakers but most of all learning to support and encourage one another, sharing experiences to grow in the knowledge of God and understanding as His beloved daughters.  In order to...
• Mobilise - to serve God, loving neighbours in the community, supporting others but also to follow God's leading into roles and responsibilities not yet dreamed of!

Gems launched on 6^th November 2009 with a dinner for 65 ladies, meetings will usually be held on the first Friday of each month in the church.

Thursday Gems is a weekly meeting for ladies on a Thursday morning lead by Sue Elson.
