Toddlers About Us

The Beeches Parent and Toddler group is part of The Beeches Baptist Church, Banstead Road. We meet at the church, on a Tuesday morning between 10:00-11:00 am during school term time.

The group was set up to provide friendship and support for local parents of pre-school children. It currently offers 3 crèches, (0-2 years – Little Fish (babies), Under 2’s (Active Little Fish) and 2-4 years – Big Fish) with volunteer CRB checked helpers who look after the children while the parents meet for refreshments, chat and a programme of relevant talks or activities.

The crèches are child-centred and work sensitively with parents to encourage children’s independence so you are free to remain with your child (in crèche) for as long as you need to.

Membership of Beeches Parent and Toddler group requires the completion of a membership form with all the follow-up checks and references that are necessary to protect our safe environment and wellbeing of the children.  On occasions some parents may be required to help in the crèche to maintain safe child/adult ratio. New members are warmly welcomed and receive a special 'Membership Pack' once their application has been processed.

This Parent and Toddler group is for you and your child’s benefit, so we hope you will enjoy your time with us. We welcome all feedback and suggestions you may have to improve the group.
